Fantasia's blendable colored pencils with extra lead are produces with carefully selected pigments to obtain high color concentration and give depth to colors. Different colors can easily blend together to obtain different tones and effects.

For perfect blending, lay down the lightest color first and work other colors on top. Each time a new color is applied, work the pencil in a different direction to the previous layer. This will enhance the depth of the illustration. New colors and textures can be created by using a cross-hatching technique where two sets of lines cross over each other. The light color is laid down first and cross-hatching is applied with a darker color.
